Earplugs, that’s the secret.

At least, that’s one of tricks of the trade when working as a Project Manager from my home office.

Yes,  I have a room separate from the rest of the house with its own door that I can close. Having a door is an obvious. But when it’s discovered that I also have 7 children under 12 years of age in the house, I can see the baffled look “How do I manage to concentrate?!” To the logistics of that, I have many answers, but one of them has to be the earplugs.

Earplugs and a dictionary (I love you little, my little Random House!), that’s what you can always find on my desk.
